A new clan? No. A new fraternity, Yes, one where we can all be
friends and have fun, compete fiercely, share new ideas, and enjoy
the sport that is Cyber Gaming!
We Need Your Help with our quest of getting the word out, that
this sport has senior players that take multiplayer gaming seriously.
You don't have to be a great player, just an avid player.
The Senior Gaming League plays online tournaments twice a week
and we gather at worldwide computer gaming events, hosted by many
amateur and professional organizations, like the CyberAthlete Professional
League, QuakeCon, and more...These BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer)
LAN events are our chance to meet each other in person and further
enjoy our league. Additionally, at many of these events we put on
our own "Members Only" competition for cash and prizes.
Our First Tournament was held at The Razer-CPL Event In Feb, 2000
Sixteen members participated. In the end K-9 Burn took First Place
and won $70.00.
Second Place prize was of a Razer Boomslang 2000 Mouse.
Our organization relies solely upon member contributions in the
form of help with events, donations, etc. (this site was entirely
designed free of charge by our charter members), and sponsors who
often donate their products as prizes for our competitions. We welcome
those of you who own a company interested in advertising in exchange
for cash and product prizes.
If you are an avid gamer, over the age of 30, and interested in
great competition, good friendships, and great fun, you should be
a member. We look forward to welcoming you to our rapidly growing
league. To join, just click the "Sign Me Up" link. Got
a question, comment or suggestion, click the "Contact Us"
link and fire away...(just a figure of speech you understand!)
That's all there is too it, so sit back, browse our web site, and
sign up for some great fun! Welcome to the Senior Gaming League!
